by Ria Janine RamosApril 21, 2016
Whether you’re going on a courageous solo trip, or going on a bonding trip with your friends, this guide will surely help you avoid getting stressed packing up and avoid forgetting anything essential back home.
The very important stuff:
Passport and ID – it is also good to bring photocopies of these just in case
Credit Card or Cash – never leave without money and spare money, however, make sure that you do not put them all in the same place. Have some in your pocket, in your bag’s pocket, etc.
Travel Insurance
Small first aid kit or medicine kit
For your relaxation:
Neck pillow
Eye mask – especially if you are a person who is used to sleeping with the lights off
Ear plugs – for peace and quiet
Compression socks – if you are traveling on a budget, low cost flights also means no space for your legs to stretch. Try wearing compression socks to prevent cramps and the progression of venous disorders
For refuelling:
Small snacks – maybe some easy to pack Bars
Water bottle – it is important to always keep yourself hydrated
Your carry-on:
Laptop and phone – and do not forget your chargers and powerbanks
Camera – to capture those amazing travel moments
Light foldable tote – in case you need an extra bag after buying souvenirs
Pouch for liquids and makeup – like your eye cream, lip balm, tinted moisturizer, sanitizer, mascara, concealer, deodorant, eye drops, sunscreen, bug repellent
Mints
Entertainment – like a small pocket book
Tooth brush
You might also want to bring:
Big scarf – for cover ups and as a blanket when you are cold
Spare undies
Baby powder – you can use it as dry shampoo, as excess oil remover, as sand-stuck-on-your-feet remover, and a lot more
Foldable shoes
That’s it. I hope you find this list helpful. Getting ready to travel does not have to be stressful. Enjoy life and enjoy your next destination!
